Mobilitypoints
Sharing services and public transportation—seamlessly connected.
Mobility hubs serve to connect different modes of transportation from the areas of shared mobility and local public transit. By linking various mobility options, they offer attractive alternatives to using private vehicles.
The “MyRadl” bike-sharing service is available at all 67 mobility hubs in the Fürstenfeldbruck district, and there is a direct connection to trains, buses, the FLEXlinie, and/or taxis. At ten mobility hubs, users can also take advantage of the “evhcle” cargo bike-sharing service. In addition, car-sharing services are available at four locations, and six mobility hubs feature areas for e-scooter sharing. The on-site offerings are complemented by convenient facilities for those traveling on their own bicycles, ranging from bike racks—some with shelters—to garages, lockers, service stations, and e-bike charging stations.
In public spaces, the mobility hubs are easily recognizable from a distance thanks to their standardized signage. This signage lists the locally available modes of transportation. The map on the signage shows the locations of the various mobility options.
Bike points
Well-connected even without public transit—

Bike hubs are located in areas without direct public transportation access and, through the MyRadl bike-sharing program and bike parking facilities, provide connections to mobility hubs with other modes of transportation. In the Fürstenfeldbruck district, MyRadl is available at six bike hubs. Standardized signage marks the bike hubs and provides information about the available mobility options and their locations.

Background
The mobility and bike hubs in the Fürstenfeldbruck district, the bike and cargo bike sharing services available there, as well as the facilities for private bicycles (parking areas, shelters, garages, lockers, service stations, and
e-bike charging stations) were established as part of the project “Multimodal Local Mobility in the Fürstenfeldbruck District (MuNaMo-FFB)” (grant number: 67KBR0140), funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN).
Project Details
During the project’s funding period (October 2022 through September 2026), the sites for all 67 mobility and bike hubs were constructed; the equipment for all locations, as well as the shared bicycles and cargo bikes, were procured; and operations were launched. In addition, external mobility services were integrated, and efforts were made to promote the digital networking of the various services and their regional integration.
Throughout the project period and beyond, the establishment and operation of the mobility and bike hub services have been and continue to be supported by comprehensive public relations efforts and scientific monitoring.
Project Objectives
By providing and connecting various mobility options, the network of mobility and bike hubs is intended to promote multimodal transportation choices (i.e., the use and combination of different modes of transportation, depending on the route and purpose) and thereby increase the share of trips made using public and environmentally friendly modes of transportation. This is intended to conserve resources and reduce emissions.
Project Participants
Under the leadership of the “Public Mobility” unit at the district administration office, the project was implemented jointly by the Fürstenfeldbruck District, the City of Fürstenfeldbruck, the City of Germering, the Municipality of Grafrath, the Municipality of Gröbenzell, the Municipality of Landsberied, the Municipality of Maisach, the Municipality of Mammendorf, the City of Olching, the City of Puchheim, and the Municipality of Schöngeising.
Project Funding
As part of the National Climate Protection Initiative, the federal government provided approximately 1.9 million euros in funding to cover the procurement of station infrastructure and shared bicycles, preparatory civil engineering work to prepare the sites, as well as public relations and monitoring activities during the funding period.
Any project costs exceeding this amount, as well as expenses for public relations and monitoring outside the funding period, are covered by the county. The participating cities and municipalities finance the maintenance and operation of the mobility and bike stations.
